Very simple. You try your best breath hold and based on that it design a training program (to train co2, o2, or the two). Then you try your best again and it draws a graph. It doesnt (which is dumb) automatically record your best hold. You have to digit independently. No instructions at all (would be useful to have suggestions about # of repetitions depending on your goal/age/health but also suggested food and cardio training). For a paid app the greatest pro is its simplicity but they could offer more
